Impact partners

“Partnerships work best when they’re built on trust, shared purpose, and a genuine wish to make life easier for people and teams alike.”
— Dr Knut Schroeder, Founder & Director, Expert Self Care
Co-create something that neither of us could build alone
Every app we build starts with a community that nothing off the shelf could serve — and with partners who know that community far better than we do.
Impact Partners are charities, NHS bodies, universities, and public sector organisations who shape our apps from the inside: choosing what goes in, checking it's right, and putting it in front of the people it's for.
Is this you?
We work best with organisations who:
- Know a community that's underserved – and have the standing to reach them.
- Have expertise worth building into something lasting – clinical, lived, or operational.
- Want to extend their reach – beyond the people who already come through the door.
- Would rather co-create than commission – shaping the work, not just receiving it.
What we build together
- New apps where nothing exists – Co-designed from scratch alongside clinical experts for a specific community or underserved population.
- Wider reach for what already works – Instantly connecting your local networks to pre-accredited tools that are ready to deploy today, or ground-breaking new ones.
- Better signposting – Ensuring people reach the right localised service first time, not third, reducing preventable pressure on frontline staff.
What each of us brings
You bring the community knowledge, the credibility, and the routes to reach people. We bring:
- Clinical governance and accreditation – PIF TICK accredited, ORCHA assessed, NHS DTAC compliant.
- The whole build – content, design, app store, hosting, and maintenance.
- Proven scale – over 250,000 people supported across the UK and Ireland.
- Anonymous impact data – outcomes you can take to your board or funder.
Neither half works without the other. That's the point.
A community of practice
Impact Partners also join a working network across health, education, local government, and the charity sector:
- Shared learning – what's worked, what hasn't, and what others are trying.
- Early access and influence – shaping new resources before they're published.
- Introductions – to potential collaborators and co-commissioners.
- Visible leadership – standing alongside others doing serious work in digital health.
Let's talk about your community
Every partnership starts with a conversation about the people you're trying to reach and what's currently missing for them.
We also offer opportunities for corporate partners to get involved in our award-winning, accredited health and wellbeing work.
