The CONfidence app, one of the most recent additions to the family of Expert Self Care apps, has been certified to meet the standards required for the NHS Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC)

The DTAC has been introduced by the NHS to give staff, patients and citizens confidence that the digital health tools they use meet clinical safety, data protection, technical security, interoperability, and usability and accessibility standards.

The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health apps (ORCHA) carried out the assessment and provided the certificate.

The DTAC provides a consistent set of questions that enables health technology providers to present the same evidence to organisations buying digital health technologies. It sets out the standards expected for entry into the NHS and social care.
