Corporate partners

Three app phone mockups.

Expert Self Care builds free, clinically reviewed health apps for communities that conventional services struggle to reach – young carers, students, Irish farmers, offshore engineering teams.

Companies who partner with us gain something rare and valuable - a credible association with work the NHS, universities, and charities already trust.

We also offer impact partnerships for charities, NHS bodies, universities, and public sector organisations that help shape apps from the inside – getting involved in content creation, testing, and distribution.

How it works

Every project brings together three partners, each contributing something the others can't:

  • Expert Self Care – clinical leadership, accredited content, and long-term maintenance.
  • Impact Partners – national charities, university networks, and NHS bodies who shape the content and drive adoption.
  • Corporate Partners – co-funding that lets us reach further and faster than we could alone.

A partnership, not a donation

Our work is funded through app subscriptions, commissioned builds, and grants from public and not-for-profit bodies. We're not dependent on corporate money, and we don't approach it as fundraising.

A corporate partnership for us is an exchange in which both sides gain something they couldn't otherwise obtain. You get verifiable association with accredited, award-winning health work – and the impact data to back it up. We get the means to reach more people, sooner.

That only works when the fit is genuinely right. So we take on a small number of corporate partners, and we're careful about who.

Is this you?

The partnerships that work best are with organisations trying to:

  • Do something substantial, not symbolic – a lasting resource rather than a campaign that ends.
  • Report real social impact – measurable outcomes for ESG and CSR disclosures, backed by independent accreditation.
  • Give their people something to be proud of – work that staff can see the point of.
  • Build standing in sectors where trust matters – health, education, or their own industry.

Looking for advertising reach or audience data? We don't offer either – see below.

What you get

Be associated with award-winning apps, such as the Medilink South West 2026 Award for Advances in Digital Healthcare:

  • Be associated with work that's independently verified – PIF TICK accredited
  • Obtain real impact data – anonymous usage figures and outcomes you can report against ESG and CSR commitments.
  • Tell a story worth telling – for your marketing, media, annual reports, and investor relations.
  • Get a seat alongside serious partners – NHS bodies, national charities and umbrella organisations, and universities.
  • Boost internal pride – something your teams can point to that isn't simply a logo on a banner.

Ways to partner

We scope every partnership individually around your goals and budget cycle:

  • Make a new app happen – for a specific community or underserved population that currently has nothing built for them.
  • Take an app somewhere new – adapting and localising an existing, accredited platform for a particular region, country, or sector.
  • Put an existing app in more hands – supporting wide-scale distribution, marketing assets, and national update rollouts.
  • Break new ground – partnering directly with our clinical engineering division to pilot entirely new approaches in digital wellbeing and prevention.

How we recognise you

Recognition is proportionate to the partnership, and always framed around impact rather than promotion:

  • Visibility – acknowledgement on relevant pages, in impact reports, and through appropriate in-app credits.
  • Shared thought leadership – joint publication when we share insights and project reflections.
  • Events – invitations to relevant webinars, roundtables, and impact discussions.
  • Introductions – to other partners working in your space.

What we won't do

No in-app advertising. No user data collected, and none to sell. No paywalls.

That's a firm boundary, and it's the reason our apps are trusted by the NHS, universities, and charities. It also means your support is seen for what it is – a genuine contribution, not a marketing placement.
