Out now: New Patient Information Forum toolkit 'Creating health information that works'

The Patient Information Forum has just published an excellent new toolkit titled 'Creating health information that works'.

Bringing together best practice guidance, practical resources, and the evidence behind the statements, the toolkit also contains case studies from information producers.

The guide and resources are arranged in four themes:

  • Create accurate and evidence-based health information
  • Communicate information clearly
  • Ensure information has impact and relevance
  • Involve users in creating information

If you're an information provider, the guide helps you think about user-testing your information, evaluating your project, researching the evidence base, and communicating clearly. Access the toolkit on the Patient Information Forum website at www.pifonline.org.uk/toolkit/.
